Flemish double Harpsichord Ruckers by The Paris Workshop
Instrument supplied in kit form for home assembly.
The harpsichords built by the Ruckers family were famous throughout Europe in the 17th and 18th centuries, their clear and precise sound as much admired then as now.
Our Ruckers Double's range of 56 notes covers all of Bach's works, and the clarity of tone suits his contrapuntal style. This is probably our most versatile instrument, easy to transport and useful for the whole body of early keyboard music.
The photograph shows the instrument with the optional table stand.
