Evah Pirazzi Gold viola strings are made of modern multifilament synthetic fiber. They generate a bright, full-bodied golden tone, and have a wide range of tonal colors. They are absolutely insensitive to variations in temperature and humidity.
The Rondo Gold viola strings offer a warm and bright sound, standing out for their greater tonal richness compared to the original Rondo strings. They are characterized by a noticeably warmer and more luminous tone than the standard Rondo strings.
Thomastik Rondo viola strings are part of the Thomastik-Infeld line of luthier strings. These strings have been designed for the sophisticated violist and to meet the professional needs of luthiers. Rondo strings are especially popular with soloists who play antique instruments.
The sheep gut core of the Eudoxa strings is manufactured, wound and polished in the traditional way, by hand. They generate a well-balanced warm tone, with a great diversity of sounds. The performer has a comfortable feeling in the left hand. They are ideal for orchestra, chamber music, and studio. Changing the gauge by 1/4 PM changes the string tension by 3%.
