Widely considered "the gold standard", Dominant strings are made with a highly flexible multifilament synthetic core. They provide the tonal warmth and feel of a gut string, being impervious to changes in humidity. The sound is smooth, clear, with stable intonation and very rich in colors.
D'Addario Helicore viola strings are made with a braided steel core, making them very easy to play and producing a warm, clear tone.
