The 1st and 2nd strings have a core made from a single strand of high tensile steel and are wound on chrome steel. These offer great brightness combined with a warm core sound. The 3rd and 4th strings have a tungsten wound core. The 3rd offers depth and a greater volume of sound. The 4th has a powerful open sound, vibrates freely and offers enormous possibilities. The whole set itself offers great brilliance based on a warm core sound. These strings offer excellent responsiveness and control. The three-tension design results in distinctive sound differences between them, with the middle tension having a bright tone based on a warm core sound. They have exceptional adjustment stability. They are also suitable for electric or electrically amplified cellos.
