Monographic recording dedicated to the chamber music of Margarida Orfila (Maó, 1889 - Barcelona, 1970), a Noucentist composer which combines the Romantic tradition with Noucentist aesthetic elements, reflecting a balance between formal clarity and expressive richness. Her writing is clearly shaped by her pianistic background.
The recovery of this legacy not only enriches the Catalan musical repertoire but also highlights the role of women composers in the history of music, emphasizing the need to give visibility to figures who made significant contributions despite the limitations of their historical and social context.
35-page libretto in Catalan, Spanish and English, by Isabel Fèlix, who has rescued this wonderful music from oblivion.
